Matthew is a Vice President at C Street Advisory Group where he provides strategic communications and investor relations counsel to companies in a number of industries during some of their most critical moments, including restructurings, M&A, shareholder activism defense, liability management exercises, executive transitions, and corporate crises.

During his time at C Street, Matthew has counseled numerous clients through complex situations, including Mobileum, Barnes & Noble Education, CommScope, the Litigation Oversight Committee for Celsius Network, Hoonigan, Gritstone bio, Shoes For Crews, and Ted Baker Canada.

Prior to joining C Street, Matthew was a Vice President at H/Advisors Abernathy where he advised public and private companies on matters such as friendly and hostile M&A transactions, shareholder activism defense, corporate crises, and high-profile executive transitions. Matthew was also a member of the alternative investments team and has significant experience in working with leading alternative investment firms and managers to develop and implement long-term public positioning plans that advance and protect their reputations across market cycles.

Matthew graduated from Trinity College (CT) with a B.A. in Economics and English. He serves on the Alumni Council of Portledge School in Locust Valley, NY.
