Chloe is a Managing Director at C Street.

Chloe Clifford draws on her combined legal and financial communications background to advise clients navigating high-stakes and complex situations, including M&A and capital markets transactions, crises and special situations, activist defense and preparedness and litigation.

Prior to joining C Street, Chloe was a Managing Director at FGS Global, where she advised public and private companies on some of their most consequential moments. Her experience includes advising Electronic Arts on its proposed sale to an investor group; Southwest Airlines on its defense against Elliott Management; Smartsheet on its acquisition by Blackstone and Vista Equity Partners; and Sealed Air on its proposed sale to CD&R. She has also advised Samsara, Xponential Fitness, Compass, 23andMe and Virgin Galactic on their respective public listings; a top-tier global technology company on cross-border litigation matters; and a leading U.S.-based private equity firm on transaction-related communications, portfolio company support and firm positioning.

Earlier in her career, Chloe was a corporate attorney at Gibson Dunn, where she advised on a wide array of public and private merger transactions, asset and stock sales, capital markets transactions and private equity deals. 

Chloe received her J.D. from Columbia University and her B.A. from Dartmouth College. She is a member of the California bar.
